Following the successful application to Greenham Common Trust – Find me a Grant scheme, we have been able to fund 30 places to this year’s Young Carers Festival in Southampton. Additionally, we have also received funding for 100 hoodies which have been supplied by Ruby Slippers (Newbury). We have distributed one to each Young Carer who is registered with the Young Carers Project and have stock to ensure that all future registered Young Carers can get a hoodie immediately. I think we have already mentioned that they also get a ‘Sidney’!

These reactive grants from the Trust help hundreds of organisations in West Berkshire and North Hampshire fund specific projects, activities and events that would otherwise be impossible to achieve and maintain. http://www.findmeagrant.org.uk.
