Busy knitters galore!!

It’s hard to believe that we are already racing towards April 1st but planning is well underway for Easter and Summer Activities for Young Carers.

A visit to Rushall Farm to see lambs being born is always a favourite on the calendar and this year was no exception.

Young Carers have plenty to look forward to in terms of activities which include:

Escape Room adventure, Horse Riding, Musical in a Week (Watermill Theatre) as well as the Annual Young Carers Festival, Marwell Zoo, Airsoft (Bucklebury) to name but a few.

It will be a busy time and we are delighted to be able to fund all of these activities thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

But it’s not only our Young Carers who are busy. In Pangbourne, a wonderful group of ladies have been busy knitting and crafting to supply us with more little owls as you can see from the photos. We are so grateful for the time the ladies have given to help us promote our charity and special thanks to Sue Darroch for making initial contact with Friends of Young Carers (West Berkshire).

In Newbury, the Siroptimists have also been busy knitting and we have some very cute new additions to give out to our Young Carers.

Best wishes from all the Trustees
